എഫ്‌.സിയെ. മല്‍സരത്തിന്റെ മുപ്പത്തിയൊന്നാം മിനുട്ടില്‍ മുന്‍നിരക്കാരന്‍ കെ.പി.അനീഷാണ്‌ നിര്‍ണ്ണായക ഗോളുമായി എവേ മല്‍സരത്തില്‍ വിവക്ക്‌ ആദ്യ വിജയം സമ്മാനിച്ചത്‌. ഇതോടെ 12 കളികളില്‍ നിന്ന്‌ 14 പോയന്റുമായി വിവ പത്താം സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക്‌ വന്നു. ഇന്നലെ സ്വന്തമാക്കാനായ വിജയത്തിന്‌ മറ്റൊരു പ്രത്യേകത കൂടിയുണ്ട്‌. വിദേശിയായ മുന്‍നിരക്കാരന്‍ റൂബന് സന്യാവോയെ കൂടാതെയാണ്‌ വിവ വിജയിച്ചത്‌. തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി രണ്ട്‌ മഞ്ഞകാര്‍ഡ്‌ കണ്ടതിനാല്‍ റൂബന് ആദ്യ ഇലവനില്‍ സ്ഥാനമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. ഈ അവസരമാണ്‌ അനീഷ്‌ ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തിയത്‌. മല്‍സരം നിലവാരത്തിനൊത്തുയര്‍ന്നിരുന്നില്ല. കൂപ്പറേജില്‍ മല്‍സരം കാണാനെത്തിയവരില്‍ പലരും നിരാശരായി പകുതി സമയത്തോടെ മടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്‌തിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ വിവക്ക്‌ വിജയവും മൂന്ന്‌ പോയന്റും നിര്‍ണ്ണായകമായി. എവേ മല്‍സരത്തിലെ വിജയം ടീമിന്‌ നല്‍കുന്നത്‌ വര്‍ദ്ധിത ആത്മവിശ്വാസമാണെന്ന്‌ നായകന്‍ എം.പി സക്കീര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. സമീപകാലത്തായി മികച്ച പ്രകടനം ടീം നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്‌. പക്ഷേ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ്‌ പിഴവിലെ പ്രശ്‌നമാണ്‌ എല്ലായിടത്തും വിനയായത്‌. ഇവിടെയും മുന്‍നിരക്കാര്‍ അവസരം നഷ്‌ടപ്പെടുത്തിയതായി ക്യാപ്‌റ്റന്‍ പരാതിപ്പെട്ടു. മുംബൈ എഫ്‌.സി ശക്തരായ ടീമാണെന്നും അവരെ തോല്‍പ്പിക്കാനായത്‌ ടീമിന്റെ നേട്ടമാണെന്നും കോച്ച്‌ ഏ.എം ശ്രീധരന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ടീമിന്റെ മൊത്തത്തിലുളള പ്രകടനത്തില്‍ സംതൃപ്‌തനല്ലെങ്കിലും മൂന്ന്‌ പോയന്റ്‌ നേടാനായത്‌ വിജയമാണ്‌. ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പിലെ മൂന്നാം വിജയവും. കഴിഞ്ഞ മല്‍സരത്തില്‍ കോഴിക്കോട്‌ വെച്ചവര്‍ എയര്‍ ഇന്ത്യയെ 2-1 ന്‌ പരാജയപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു. ആ മല്‍സരത്തിലും ടീമിന്റെ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ്‌ പോരായ്‌മകള്‍ പ്രതിഫലിച്ചിരുന്നു. സ്‌പോര്‍ട്ടിംഗ്‌ ഗോവക്കെതിരെ നടന്ന ഹോം മല്‍സരത്തിലെ വിജയമായിരുന്നു ടീമിന്റെ ആദ്യ ജയം. ഐ ലീഗില്‍ മിക്ക ടീമുകളുമിപ്പോള്‍ 13 മല്‍സരങ്ങള്‍ വീതം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ ഡെംപോ സ്‌പോര്‍ട്‌സ്‌ ക്ലബ്‌ ഗോവ 26 പോയന്റുമായി ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്താണ്‌. ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പിന്റെ ആദ്യ ലഗ്ഗില്‍ 13 മല്‍സരങ്ങളാണ്‌ പൂര്‍ത്തിയായിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. ഇനി ആരംഭിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്നത്‌ രണ്ടാം ഘട്ട മല്‍സരങ്ങളാണ്‌. അടുത്ത പതിമൂന്ന്‌ റൗണ്ട്‌ കൂടി കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ മാത്രമാണ്‌ ജേതാവിനെ അറിയാന്‍ കഴിയുക. ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പിന്റെ തുടക്കം മുതല്‍ എല്ലാവരെയും അല്‍ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തി മുന്നേറിയ ചിരാഗ്‌ മല്‍സരങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന്‌ 21 പോയന്റാണ്‌ നേടിയിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. കൊല്‍ക്കത്താ ക്ലബുകള്‍ വളരെ പിറകിലാണിപ്പോള്‍. പതിമൂന്ന്‌ മല്‍സരങ്ങള്‍ വീതം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ മോഹന്‍ ബഗാനും ഈസ്‌റ്റ്‌ ബംഗാളിനും 20 പോയന്റ്‌്‌ വീതമാണുളളത്‌. ഗോള്‍ ശരാശരിയുടെ ആനുകൂല്യത്തില്‍ ബഗാന്‍ അഞ്ചാം സ്ഥാനത്ത്‌ നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. ഇന്നലെ നടന്ന മറ്റ്‌ മല്‍സരങ്ങളില്‍ ഈസ്‌റ്റ്‌ ബംഗാള്‍ ഒരു ഗോളിന്‌ സ്‌പോര്‍ട്ടിംഗ്‌ ഗോവയെയും ചിരാഗ്‌ യുനൈറ്റഡ്‌ എന്ന ബാറ്റ്‌സ്‌മാന്‍ കരുത്തിന്റെ പൂര്‍ണ്ണരൂപം പ്രാപിച്ച ഇന്നിംഗ്‌സാണ്‌ ഇന്നലെ കണ്ടത്‌. 20-20 ദേശീയ ടീമിലുടെ ദേശിയ സംഘത്തിലെത്തിയ യൂസഫിനെ സമീപകാലത്തായി സെലക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ തഴഞ്ഞ മട്ടായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ അവസരം ലഭിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ സെലക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ക്ക്‌ മുന്നിലേക്ക്‌ ആറ്‌ സിക്‌സറുകളാണ്‌ അദ്ദേഹം പായിച്ചത്‌. 70 റണ്‍സ്‌ നേടുന്നതിനിട നാല്‌ വിക്കറ്റ്‌ നഷ്‌ടമായ അവസ്ഥയില്‍ പശ്ചിമ മേഖല പതറി നില്‍ക്കുന്ന സമയത്താണ്‌ യൂസഫ്‌ ക്രീസിലെത്തിയത്‌. ആക്രമണമാണ്‌ ഏറ്റവും നല്ല പ്രതിരോധം എന്ന്‌ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയാണ്‌ അദ്ദേഹം കളിച്ചത്‌. പിച്ച്‌ ചെയ്‌ത പന്തുകളെല്ലാം അദ്ദേഗം ഗ്യാലറിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചു. ഒരു ബൗളര്‍മാരോടും ദയാദാക്ഷിണ്യം കാണിച്ചില്ല. ആറ്‌ സിക്‌സറുകളില്‍ നാലും ബൗളറുടെ തലക്ക്‌ മുകളിലൂടെയായിരുന്നു. യൂസഫിന്‌ പിന്തുണ നല്‍കാന്‍ ഒരു ബാറ്റ്‌സ്‌മാന്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഒന്നാം ഇന്നിംഗ്‌സ്‌ ലീഡ്‌ സ്വന്തമാക്കാന്‍ വസീം ജാഫറിന്റെ സംഘത്തിന്‌ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നു. അഞ്ച്‌ വിക്കറ്റ്‌ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയ തമിഴ്‌നാട്‌ സീമര്‍ സി.ഗണപതിയായിരുന്നു പശ്ചിമ മേഖല ബാറ്റിംഗിനെ തളര്‍ത്തിയത്‌. യൂസഫ്‌ പത്താന്‍ മാത്രമാണ്‌ ഗണപതിയെ അനായാസം നേരിട്ടത്‌. യൂസഫ്‌ കത്തി നിന്ന സമയത്ത്‌ ബാറ്റിംഗ്‌ വളരെ എളുപ്പമായാണ്‌ തോന്നിയത്‌. 108 റണ്‍സാണ്‌ അദ്ദേഹം സ്‌ക്കോര്‍ ചെയ്‌തത്‌. ഒന്നാം ദിവസം സെഞ്ച്വറിയുമായി പുറത്താവാതെ നിന്ന ദിനേശ്‌ കാര്‍ത്തിക്‌ 183 റണ്‍സ്‌ വരെയെത്തി. ഇര്‍ഫാനെ ബഹുമാനിച്ചാണ്‌ കാര്‍ത്തിക്‌ കളിച്ചത്‌. രാവിലെ അനുകൂലമായ സാഹചര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തിയ ഇര്‍ഫാന്‍ അശോക്‌ ശ്രീനിവാസിനെ വീഴ്‌ത്തിയാണ്‌ ഫസ്റ്റ്‌ ക്ലാസ്‌ ക്രിക്കറ്റിലെ തന്റെ പതിനാലാമത്‌ അഞ്ച്‌ വിക്കറ്റ്‌ നേട്ടം ആഘോഷമാക്കിയത്‌. 400 റണ്‍സില്‍ നല്ല സ്‌ക്കോര്‍ സമ്പാദിച്ച ദക്ഷിണ മേഖലക്കെതിരെ മികച്ച തുടക്കത്തിനായാണ്‌ ജാഫര്‍ ഇറങ്ങിയത്‌. എന്നാല്‍ ഗണപതി തുടക്കത്തില്‍ തന്നെ പശ്ചിമ മേഖലാ നായകനെ വീഴ്‌ത്തി. അതോടെ ടീം തളര്‍ന്നു. രണ്ടാം ഓപ്പണര്‍ ഖാദിവാലെയും പെട്ടെന്ന്‌ പുറത്തായി. നാലാമത്‌ വന്നാണ്‌ യൂസഫ്‌ കത്തിയത്‌. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ താരം രവിന്ദു ജഡേജക്കും ഇര്‍ഫാനും നല്ല തുടക്കം ലഭിച്ചു. പക്ഷേ
